First Trailer For Phil Lynott: Songs For While I’m Away Documentary Released
Last week saw the release of the first trailer for upcoming documentary Phil Lynott: Songs For While I’m Away, set for release in Ireland in the fall. Directed by Emer Reynolds (Here Was Cuba, The Farthest) and starring Carl Shaaban as Phil Lynott, it tells the story of Lynott’s life and career from growing up in working-class Dublin in the 1950s to becoming a famous rock star. The film includes interviews with our very own Adam Clayton, Thin Lizzy’s Eric Bell, Metallica’s James Hetfield and Ultravox’s Midge Ure.
You can watch the trailer featuring a quote by Adam here.
