Week in Review: March 30, 2020
Once again, @U2 brings you the latest in U2 news.
Bono Collaborates with will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, and Yoshiki in #SING4LIFE
On St. Patrick’s Day (March 17, 2020), U2’s Instagram page posted a video of Bono singing a new song called “Let Your Love Be Known.” This piano ballad is a tribute to Italians who sang, danced, and played instruments together from balconies and rooftops while sheltered in place due to the coronavirus. A week later, on March 24, 2020, the song grew into a collaboration among Bono, will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, and Yoshiki called #SING4LIFE. In the video, the four artists contribute to a new version of the song—with revised lyrics—from their respective homes. Yoshiki and Bono play the piano; will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson sing while leaning against their windows; Bono sings and flashes us his classic, comforting smile.

Let’s all continue to carry each other through this. One love.
