Week In Review: March 2, 2020
Who’s ready for a party? A U2 concert streaming party, that is? And, while we’re at it, we get to celebrate Adam Clayton’s 60th birthday!
U2.com announced this week it will host the premiere of U2 eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE – LIVE IN BERLIN during a live streaming event in March. U2.com will announce the exact date soon.
The Zootopia team will be online managing the festivities. U2.com subscribers are invited to join the party and share memories of the tour, including photos, tweets and reviews. Participants will also be able to chat live throughout the entire show–all 142 minutes and 32 songs. And, because the event will double as the Jazz Man’s birthday party, viewers can share stories and photos about Adam as well.
A couple of important notes about the stream:
- It is available to subscribers ONLY. If you don’t have a subscription, subscribe here.
- The concert will stream in 4K UHD and 5.1 surround sound (so set up your biggest TV and best boom box so you don’t miss out on Adam’s bass). If you don’t have the capability to watch with your own TV, watch with someone who does!
- U2.com will be giving away collectibles during the event.
- The show will be available on demand for the duration of your annual subscription.
As we previously reported, U2.com is also releasing the concert as the 2020 subscriber gift. It includes a DVD and booklet of the show; gifts will begin shipping in May.
