5 Seconds Of Summer’s (5SOS) New Album Will Feature The Edge
5 Seconds Of Summer revealed that their new album, Calm, will feature two of rock’s heavy hitters: The Edge and Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine. The album will be released on March 27, 2020 and will be followed by a tour beginning in May. No word yet on which track(s) will include The Edge.

Matt talks about his history filming the band Prodigy in the 90s and continuing to direct music DVDs for MTV. He gives great insight on the practical and artistic challenges of capturing the concert’s magic moments in film.
Windmill Lane Launches New Visitor Center
Windmill Lane Recording Studios is perhaps best known for being where U2 have recorded some or all of seven albums, including The Joshua Tree. Add it to your bullet list: it just announced it will be opening its doors for a new “visitor experience.” From The Irish Times, “The tour gives visitors an insight into the creation and production of some of the albums and songs of the past 40 years, through a mix of technology, audio-visual media and storytelling. They can also observe the music recording and production process.”
