“U2 eXPERIENCE Live in Berlin” Airs Across The World
The 75-minute edit of the November 13, 2018 eXPERIENCE Tour show has aired in 18 countries and will continue to air in some locations throughout the rest of January. YouTube links to the broadcast surfaced in the last few days of December and continue to be available, though they are periodically taken down or do not play in all countries. The broadcast featured 13 songs, including “Acrobat,” “Summer of Love” and “City of Blinding Lights,” as well as a speech from MacPhisto. U2.com has noted that the full 23-song concert will be released in early 2020.

Five Remixes, One Month
December has been a busy month for U2 remixes. On December 6, 2020, U2 released The Eternal Remixes which included four U2 songs remixed by Indian artists. The new remixes continued the enthusiasm that “Ahimsa” started for the final show of the Joshua Tree Tour in Mumbai. See the full track listing here:

1. “Pride (In The Name Of Love)” (Karsh Kale 100 Voices Mix)
2. “Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way” (Lost Stories Remix)
3. “You’re The Best Thing About Me” (OX7GEN Remix)
4. “Beautiful Day” (Amaal Mallik Reprise)

“Ahimsa” received its own remix after topping iTunes rock charts in more than 20 countries. DJ and producer KSHMR released a remix of “Ahimsa“ on December 12, 2019.

Toyota Powers U2 In Tokyo
U2 released a news story noting that, for the first time, four Toyota Mirai cars powered solely by hydrogen fuels cells were used as power sources at the December 5, 2019 Tokyo show. The cars supplied power to “Edge’s guitar, Adam’s bass, and the entire backline — guitar and bass amplifiers, audio effects and system control” at the show. This continues U2’s long history of efforts around creating more sustainable live shows. Read more on U2.com here: Hydrogen Powered Rock’n’Roll
