Bono busks for charity on Grafton Street

Bono was one of several well-known Irish singers/musicians who took to the streets of Dublin on Christmas Eve to busk for charity. It happened on Grafton Street as Bono joined the likes of Glen Hansard, Damien Rice, Mundy, Liam O’Maonlai and others to raise money for the Dublin Simon Community, a group that works to prevent homelessness and aid the homeless.

According to some videos put on YouTube by IrelandCaptured, Bono sang along on “Stand By Me,” “One,” and “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door.” This Hot Press article mentions that Bono slipped out while the others kept performing. Here are the two vids that capture yer man’s contributions.
